Imagine a restaurant and bar next door to a beauty salon and Spa. This small collection of businesses is owned and operated by Mr. Savek Meprasersak. And for those lucky few who have the pleasure of traveling the world on international class cruise ships, you might have met this man on board the ship. He works on the ship several months at a time and then he comes to Pattaya. This collection of businesses is called “S-One.”
“S-One” is service number one and that’s what you get. For example, my lovely Thai girl friend and I decided to have lunch in the restaurant which is located on Soi Chaiyapoon not to far from Second Road. Look for the “S-One” sign. After we ordered out lunch, I noticed a man outside on the street selling fresh fruit. I love watermelon (tang moo). So, I called out to him to bring some into the restaurant before my lunch was brought to our table. The staff got a plate for me and put the watermelon on the plate. They arranged it in a beautiful pattern and gave me an extra fork. That’s service.
Another example of the service that you and expect when you dine at “S-One” is when we were having lunch I asked the staff to play some romantic Thai music for my lovely Thai girl friend and me. They did and it was perfect because it set the atmosphere. I asked them to turn down the volume because most Thais like the music loud and I don’t like the music so loud.
Next door is “S-One Beauty Salon and Home Spa.” Now I must admit that my Thai girl friend and I did not have the time to take advantage of the services but we did look around and it seems that it is a typical beauty salon. Maybe, next time my Thai girl friend will have her hair done. I’ll bet they can even cut my hair too.
The food was excellent, the music was romantic and the service was number one at “S-One.” Ask and ye shall receive. See the ad in this paper. Some people like the location so much that they have moved into one of the rooms for rent. You can see pictures of the rooms in the ad in this paper.
