On Friday January 5th Rosie O’Grady’s, Soi 7, held their first annual Charity Golf Classic. The event was well attended with 124 golfer teeing off at the Phoenix Golf Course. The cool and cloudy weather was perfect for golf.
Hosts for the event were William Lloyd and Adam Grimshaw. With their hard work the Charity Classic was a big success, even given the short amount of time in which this event was organized. Proceeds from the event, 20,000 Baht, were donated to the Pattaya Sports Club Charity account and they will be used for future P.S.C. charity projects.
Presentations took place at Rosie O’Grady’s following the Classic. After a wonderful meal of Irish Stew the prizes were awarded. The winners of the Rosie O’Grady’s Charity Golf Classic were the Not the Bandits team including P. Hall, S. Goodwin, K. Taylor and S. Burke. Runners-up were the Thai Connection team which included P. Boonsai, C. Williams, E. Trayling and M. Trayling.
